Originally I went to the Tai Hang branch on Wed evening but surprisingly the cafe was closed, not sure whether they did not open on specific nights or whatever, but then decided to revisit it again during lunch, this time going to the Tin Hau one where I used to live nearby. The decoration is quite interesting with a lot of color and big signs, basically putting the whole menu on the wall. A typical HK cafe setting, I had a tea set which included a Pineapple Bun, Scrambled Egg and Ham, Home-made
The pineapple drink is a ripe-off with only a few pieces of pineapple, some syrups and soda, plus a lot of ice. I could easily finish the drink in one suck through the straw. So while it is pretty, it is certainly not worth the price.
The bill on the day is $96, with Ivy just taking a macaroni with ham. It is quite expensive in a cafe standard. The services in this branch however are reasonably good however.
My overall rating is 38/100.
