Heeretea is another Taiwan style take away tea shop located in the middle of Mong Kok. The only difference is it's not from Taiwan or Hong Kong but from Guangzhou, China. A very popular shop there, it is now expanding into Hong Kong with handcrafted teas for take away. The shop is a takeaway only shop. Curious, I ordered something from their seasonal menu. With cheese, of course. This is the Cheese Mango ($42). They suggest you don't drink it with a straw to get the full mix of both the mango and the cheese. On the bottom is a icy mango drink. The top is a layer of cheese. It was interesting combination. The cheese was salty and the mango was not sweet enough to counterbalance the saltiness. It was interesting and would I order it again? Probably, yes. It was super cold and icy. Perfect for this hot hot summer day.
Interesting concept between tea and cheese. I might order another flavor next time. Or just order a straight tea without the cheese. Overall, pretty good. I'd be back. However, with their location in Mong Kok with so many other tea places, their prices are a bit high. So, they have stiff competition.
