A La Bakery, located at Ground Floor, Two Chinachem Plaza, Connaught Road Central, offers the best croissant and pastries in Hong Kong! The ingredients are imported from France. I can tell that the quality of croissants is completely different from that of those you can get in any local shops, totally unique and authentic.
The main colour theme of the shop is blue & white. The cafe is clean & cozy, and their staff are friendly. For example, I didn't check the price for their pastries so I got two only. When I paid for it, the staff advised me to get three pastries instead of two to get the best deal.
More recently, they start providing with customers dine-in lunch. There are four tables in the cafe; the price of their lunch is very reasonable, at around HK$70+. I can hardly figure out where can I get the similar price in Central, one of the most expensive places to eat in Hong Kong.
I have bought a mooncake coupon and will come back to collect the mooncakes next month. According to their promotional material, the mooncakes are made in Hong Kong from importing top quality ingredients from France and French mineral water. I'm very confident that the mooncakes will be extremely nice. I look forward to tasting it soon.
All in all, I can tell that the owner of A La Bakery truly has the passion to provide the best ingredients to Hong Kong.
