I have written a formal complaint letter to HK Tourist Association to complain this restaurant. I am writing this email regarding my unpleasant experience in the captioned restaurant on 6th December 2006 (6:15p.m.) I reserved a table on 6th Dec 2006 at 6:30p.m. for 6 people as it was my mother's birthday. I and my husband arrived there around 15 mins early so we would like to go in to have drinks while we were waiting for my family. We were told that we were not allowed to be seated until 6

I reserved a table on 6th Dec 2006 at 6:30p.m. for 6 people as it was my mother's birthday. I and my husband arrived there around 15 mins early so we would like to go in to have drinks while we were waiting for my family. We were told that we were not allowed to be seated until 6 of us are here!!
We would like to find out the reason and we were told that the reason was because there is a sign outside the shop saying you will not be served until you've all arrived. Obviously, we didn't accept this reason as it is not a reason. I agreed to order drinks with 6 people portions of food. They still won't let us in until I called the manager. Even though this incident has been resolved but I noticed they have a quality toursim Services Scheme sign issued by HK Tourist Association Board which I thought it is a joke as this restaurant does not match the criterias stated in this scheme. I would sincerely request this restaurant to give me a reasonable reason and also an official reply from the director of the HKTA regarding this matter.
