Taiwanese bubble tea is a huge trend in HK for the past half year. Shops opened one after one and somehow I lost track of which one I want to try or have tried. Recently, I'm a fan of juice, smoothies and tea. After reading about “Take Your Time" in a local newspaper, I want to come and support the owner and give the juice/smoothies a try. The owner left her career to open a fruit juice/smoothie shop. The shop is tucked aside under the Tin Hau bridge but with the nice decoration, it stood ou
The shop is tucked aside under the Tin Hau bridge but with the nice decoration, it stood out among other shops. The shops is decorated in white, both interior and exterior is filled with varieties of green plants. We all live in a hectic life, and somehow this store decoration paused our life to relax in here/Walls and floors are decorated in tiles. Behind the cashier is an open kitchen. Total of 3 staffs including the owner plus two girls. You can see how the entire drinks are prepared.
Price range from $18 to $38. Ranging from Yogurt Drinks to Smoothies, Tea, Milk, Fruit Tea, Yogurt Smoothie and Tea with Yogurt Top. That’s a lot of options to choose from and it look us a while to decide.
Mixed Berries Tea with Yogurt Top $34
The opener told us to hold the cup in 90 degrees to drink. We normally drink milk cap, yogurt cap is definitely my first try. After one sip, I fell in love with yogurt cap . It matches well with the berries and didn’t leave my mouth sugar sticky. We found out the ready made syrup is strongly banned to use in here, instead the owner use homemade osmanthus sugar. I don’t understand how can shops say juice are healthy when they use ready made syrup .
Blueberry Yogurt Smoothie $34
The colour is so pretty, light purple and white. Strong blueberry taste and the texture is light and smooth.
Take Your Time will surely be my first option now whenever I have the cravings for fresh juice!
