I was shopping with godbro XO's honey in Times Square last week, and we saw this kiosk when we arrived on the 8th floor. Selfie Cafe? Is it like the Korean one they showed on Dodo Cheng's tv show earlier? We decided to check it out. Turns out they do Selfie beverages and other sweet items like macaron, marshmallows, and white chocolate as well. We followed the instructions given by the servers and sent our photos to the cafe, then we walked around the shopping mall until XO and my brother came to meet up with us about an hour later.
When XO and my brother arrived, we went back to the kiosk, and we decided to order some beverages as well. Since I already picked out 2 photos for the macarons, my brother didn't bother to pick out another photo for his drink.
We decided to take a seat at the cafe while our macarons and beverages were made. The decor of the cafe was pretty elegant with dainty decorations and nice-looking chairs.
Our macarons were ready before our drinks, and, of course, we had to take plenty of photos of our macarons!
The printing resolution wasn't the clearest on the macarons, but it was pretty clear and the colors were pretty accurate.

The macarons would be perfect for weddings, parties, baby showers, etc! They are the perfect favors that you can consume rather than having another useless object sitting around at home.Next, came our beverages; I had the Taro Milk Tea, which was recommended by the server.

The Taro Milk Tea tasted surprisingly good for an item that was quite gimmicky! I stuck the straw down into the drink and took a sip, and it wasn't very sweet. Then, I swirled in the cream, and that sweetened the drink pretty well. The taro flavor was pretty prominent in the drink, which I liked. I thought the ink from the picture would make the drink bitter, but it didn't!With a convenient location in Times Square, I can see Selfie Cafe starting a new trend of selfie beverages this summer! The selfie sweets and beverages are definitely items that can lure a lot of "likes" on social media!
