The sweet potato fries at BRAT are a crispy, oily pleasure hit. I'm not sure what process they use before deep-frying their fries but whatever it is it leaves them with a crispy and flakey outer layer around a soft and sweet middle. I've never seen such skinny sweet potato fries before and their narrowness meant that the portion seemed pretty generous. As an aside, seating here leaves a lot to be desired, the small space and high chair-to table ratio means that it is going to be virtually impossible to get a seat during peak times. But why not go for the chips-by-the-harbour experience and go through one of the side doors to eat your fries with a lovely view of the ferry pier and the skyline of Hong Kong Island.
