Visited this restaurant with certain level of expectation knowing it was once quite a popular new Japanese cuisine. Arrived at around 1:30pm for weekday lunch, the restaurant was about 70% occupied, so didn't have to wait to be seated.Quite impressed by its interior decort, it's not traditional Japanese style, the decor, lighting and mood is rather like a stylish bar. We received warm welcome in the reception and brought to sit by the window. I chose seafood sashimi rice set from below lunch

I chose seafood sashimi rice set from below lunch set menu... sushi bowl is my all time favourite!
Salad and steamed egg as set appetizer. The salad in sweet sour dressing is quite refreshing, steamed egg with small shrimps taste thick and smooth.
Here it comes the main course, seafood sashimi rice bowl with sushi rolls and tofu. It looks so gorgeous and colourful!! A big bowl fully covered by thick slices of seafood sashimi....tuna, amberjack, scallops, spot prawn, ikura and cooked egg. The sashimi is extremely fresh, fat and tasty, especially the tuna is so soft and felt like it melted inside your mouth. The spot prawn has crystal-like 'bouncy' bites, the bright orange ikura are so big and plump and looks like its ready to burst! The rice is Japanese rice blended with fresh lettuce, it's the mixed mouthfeel of sticky and crunchy, very special and particularly good for ladies who prefers low-carb... including me. The seaweed miso soup is average. The tofu had very 'solid' texture but flat taste.
Finished up with a nice cup of coffee. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends who love enjoy decent Japanese food in a stylish environment.
