A great friend of mine from America came over Hong Kong to visit me! So I took him to Causeway Bay and walk around in Times Square area. It’s about dinner time and he wanna try something local. The staff are quite nice here and led us to our seat. As for starter, they offered us spicy cucumber and it’s very fresh. There are two menus here and we’ve chosen the $368 set since there’re more options for food and comes along with a seafood platter. Unlike other hot pot restaurants, One More Hot Pot serves like western restaurant, they provide starter, main course and add-on hot pot ingredients with unlimited drinks. Also, the add-on hotpot ingredients and drinks in One More Pot are all free refill. The drinks here have many different kinds of choices too

As the stock for hot pot we’ve chosen the valuable dried fish maw and giant whelk with chicken! The stock is very mouthwatering since it’s very rich in flavor! And the stock is very enriching with lots of valuable ingredients

As for the meat we chose Spain Berkshire pork belly, the meat is very fresh and tender! My American friend also said it’s worth to try!The deep fried fish skin and fried beancurd roll are chef-made and they are all very crispy! I was worried that my friend will be scared of fish skin but he also said it tastes like chips and it’s finger licking good!

The seafood platter that comes along with the menu is very outstanding!It includes abalone,scallop, mussel, ostreidae, margaritifera and pacific geoduck my friend loves seafood so much and he’s surprised that seafood could be eaten this way and he said the seafood tastes refreshing and are able to keep their original freshness

We’ve also ordered some add-on ingredients like corns, fish balls , beef, veggies, etc. Too sad we’re already full from the main course seafood platter and chef-made platter so we didn’t order too much later on but they are all truly delicious!
Two people dinner hot pot cost $707 but we’re able to enjoy those valuable seafood and chef-made platter! It’s totally worth it! My American friend also said he’s truly satisfied with tonight’s dinner and gotta bring him here again next time he comes to Hong Kong!
