Afternoon well spent at My Day Dining, enjoying the super cute tea set with my beloved friend💕To be very honest, the food definitely looked better than it tasted, and the proportion of the savoury to the sweets was way too low LOL As for the savouries, I liked the bacon & mashed potato canape most as there’s egg yolk flowing out when I poked it when a fork. As for the savouries, I liked the bacon & mashed potato canape most as there’s egg yolk flowing out when I poked it when a fork. The egg yolk tasted perfectly well with the salted bacon and mashed potato The mini sandwich though, was a bit disappointing as the smoked salmon was as thin as a sheet and was almost tasteless...
And for the sweets, needless to say they’re absolutely a delight to the eyes but most of them were way too sweet for my liking. My favourite out of the cakes was the lemon cupcake with white chocolate cream as the tint of lemon flavour added a refreshing taste to the set.
That being said, their super photogenic look already did make my day ❤️
