June is coming to an end, we Geminis ought to continue the celebrations. We had an impressive grilled crispy drunken bone-in spring chicken, which was succulent and very well-marinated with a delicious drunken recipe. It was my first time having drunken chicken grilled, usually they are cold served, definitely a standout from the menus.

The lobster bisque was less thick than the conventional type, surprisingly easy to drink on a hot summer night.

It was a celebratory night, so we also got foie gras on toasts, beautifully plated on drizzles of balsamic reduction, and tasted simply good with halved blueberries and strawberries. The black truffle risotto with seared scallops was creamy and fresh. Fizzed up our summertime with two glasses of sodas: peach, and butterfly pea, they tasted sweet & sour, exactly like the summer in Hong Kong.
