Today I went to my client's office to discuss about some stuffs at Wanchai and when it ended, he wanted to treat me for dinner nearby. He brought me to a Guangdong restaurant that was famed for their suckling pig. Sing Kee restaurant was located at Tonochy Road, in between of Wanchai and Causeway Bay.Their menu was very comprehensive, comprising mainly of Guangdong specialty dishes and chef recommended dishes etc. They have set dinner as well. Roasted suckling pig - Since this was their signature dish, we ordered 1/4 portion. There were 10 slices for this portion, and it was served with slice of bun to go along with. The skin was roasted till very thin and crispy, like eating crackers. Meat was half fatty as well, and the sauce helped to bring out the flavour too.
Fried vermicelli - The portion was quite generous, with alot of prawn cubes and roasted meat in it etc. It was fried till soft and smooth, and those ingredients was fresh and juicy as well.
Vegetables - We ordered a plate of vegetables since we wanted something light and to digest easier as well. Vegetables was crunchy and juicy, definitely fresh as well. There were garlic, eggs and mushroom in it. Soup was tasty and clear.
After we have finished our meal, they gave us a bowl of complimentary dessert. Dessert was sweet and smooth, and the glutinous rice was cooked till soft and chewy as well.
