Coming here to eat was no problem at all. I was expecting no seats and busy staff, which was wrong, but that's not to say the food was bad.Other than no one pouring tea for me, both the environment and service was perfectly fine. Each dish I ordered had the flavour it promised which compared to most other restaraunts is a surprising plus. It wasn't at the expense of making everything obscenely oily either except for the gai lan which didn't taste much of it's "ginger" anyway. Even with the eggwhite you can taste the fish inside unlike any you get anywhere else.
Not to mention, even considering the emptiness when I ordered, everything came super quickly.
A big problem though is the portion sizing. When the waiter double checked that I ordered 3 vegetable dishes I was a little fearful I got myself into a hefty task but low and behold these plates were appetiser sized. Each vegetable dish really ought to be sub $50.
Wanting to eat cheap I wouldn't come again myself but it's not an impossibility.
