I haven’t been having vegetarian food for ages and thus my bf suggested to come here since this restaurant is pretty famous. As he is a big fan of Pumpkin, so he ordered a pumpkin seafood soup. He also found sweet and sour beef in Mexican style interesting and thus he ordered one. Pumkin seafood soup – It was lovely that they used a pumpkin as a bowl to contain the pumpkin soup. However, the soup wasn’t hot enough and it tasted little too blank.
Chinese cabbage with fish meat – This dish was my favorite dish of the night. The Chinese cabbage was perfectly cooked, neither too saggy nor too hard. I loved the crunchiness of the cabbage. The imitated fish meat was quite true to genuine fish meat.
Sweet and sour beef in Mexican style – My bf and I were quite disappointed at this dish. It didn’t look as presentable as the photo in the menu. The texture of the imitated beef was a bit too hard, a bit like beef jerky. The sweet and sour sauce they made didn’t match the beef very well.Overall, food at this restaurant is so far so good. If I don’t have great vegetarian restaurant options, I might consider going back to this restaurant.
