First time trying this taiwanese-inspired "snowflake ice" dessert - interesting texture, like a mutation of something between shaved ice and ice cream. The green tea based ice from the 宇治金時雪花氷 (matcha shaved ice, matcha sauce, jelly, red bean, mochi) for example embodied the sweet creaminess of matcha ice cream while maintaining the "watery-crunchy" characteristics of shaved ice. The peanut based shaved ice also had a stronger peanut aroma than anticipated so that was a pleasant surprise. The tofu-fa on the other hand was a disappointment as it was extremely rough and tasted only of syrup, but I suppose most people would only order their specialty shaved ice anyway.
