I have always wanted to try out Camper’s for quite some time. It is a really popular Japanese style restaurant in Quarry Bay, and you can often see a queue outside the restaurant.I really like Camper’s principal. If you dine out 5 days a week for dinner, you would probably be in-taking a lot of MSG and food additives. Also, you might not be eating enough vegetables for dietary fibers. Therefore, Camper’s aims to serve all natural dishes with homemade sauce and dressing, without using MSG or food

I could see why people like Camper’s so much, and I have become a fans too! The slow cooked pork cartilage was so delicious! It’s very tender, almost felt like melting on your tongue. I love the soft tissues so much, which was jelly like and rich in collagen. As for the rice, oh my god, I wonder how much effort they put to make such a nutritious rice! Sweet potato, pumpkin, corn and ginger, so yummy and healthy! You can actually taste a hint of those in the rice. The curry was very decent too, not too spicy, and went well with the sauce of pork cartilage. The veggies were, oh well, veggies. But yeah, they were good, so even a veggie hater like me finished them all happily with the help of curry and sauce.
I am sure I would definitely visit again to try out the signature 15 Kinds One Day Portion Veggie Curry Rice and probably the udon, especially when the restaurant is so close to gym!
Bare in mind one thing, the waitresses have got an attitude, so don’t expect much from their service…Good luck mate!
