Passed by this lane and found this new restaurant that has a lunch menu with both western sets and Singaporean laksa. The place was crowded at lunch time but there was an empty table so decided to give it a try. Ordered the Hainanese Chicken Laksa. The chicken (served separately) arrived first - the meat was tender (although had a few pieces with almost all fat) and the condiments (garlic sauce and ginger) were pretty tasty. Ordered the Hainanese Chicken Laksa. The chicken (served separately) arrived first - the meat was tender (although had a few pieces with almost all fat) and the condiments (garlic sauce and ginger) were pretty tasty. The laksa soup came next - I asked for less spicy so they put the extra chili paste on the side for me to take out - it was just the right mix coz the soup was already quite spicy for me. The noodles were soft yet chewy and went well with the strong coconut based soup.
The lunch came with a free drink - my hot lemon tea was quite disappointing as the tea was lukewarm. Other than that it was a satisfying meal.
