Cafe Seasons, much to our surprise, was not a cafe but a cha chan teng. It had a cafe-like decor so I thought it was a cafe. But nope! It served basic cha chan teng food.
Menu is in English and Chinese though in the evening they have a dinner menu that is in Chinese only. There is no 10% service charge and items come with a basic hot drink.
I had the rice topped with char siu scrambled eggs ($54). I liked it enough. The eggs were not over scrambled. The char siu had a decent percentage of fat to meat.
Boyfriend had the rice topped with beef scrambled eggs ($54). The beef was not as good as it tasted like they had over added baking soda to it so it tasted like one soft piece of brown thing. He felt portion size was a bit small though I felt it was ok. So, for those with larger stomachs, this may not be enough for you.
It came with a standard hot drink but we added $3 for cold. Why was the ice coffee smaller in size than the lemon tea??? Strange.
It was ok but for cha chan teng standards, portion size was a bit small. Place was clean. I'd be back if there was nothing else to choose.
