I do not regret taking some time off my boring, tedious and inequitably difficult work to visit the new La Creperie branch. Food:
Beef and spinach roll
Mmm yummy. Crisp exterior, soft interior. So good and substantial. The filling consists of herbed minced beef and finely chopped spinach - tasted a bit of tahini too, which put a rather exotic, middle-eastern spin on the dish. In a good way. I had this the last time I came. Still good. Seared scallops with sauteed mushrooms in cream sauce
AAAHHH so good. Scallop went to E. :} Although the scallop is said to be the lead, the rest of the cast performed no less brilliantly. It had my undivided attention. Yup, I respect my food. Those creamy mushrooms were sooo good and well seasoned and fragrant I could've just had them with a bowl of boiled rice. Shrooms <3!
Seafood crepe in a slightly spicy cream sauce
Didn't have the fillings at all, but finished the crepe, and a bit of the salad. Good.
Mashed apple crepe
Not very special, this. Just another amazing crepe with um...apple mash. The apple's been cooked through and is sweet. Kind of tastes like apple jam. Or applesauce. My brother loves applesauce. He can finish a small carton (around 200ml) easily in one go. Sugarhigh man.Caramelized banana, caramel ice cream and caramel sauce kill me now.
Recommended by the staff. Glad we took his advice - but in fact even if he hadn't given any, we would've gone for that. E and C both put their finger on what number was this? 76? Oh yes all the crepes are numbered. The banana was soft and mushy, ice cream smelled and tasted so good (not very thick, but creamy enough to sauce the crepe) - had bits of caramel in it I think? topped with a generous drizzling of sweet, sticky caramel sauce - crosshatched on the crepe, damn. Dessert can't get any better mmmm. Conclusion:
Must try....everything else. maybe i'll get something to do with salmon next time. Next time please come asap. Date me please, anyone.
題外話/補充資料：
Great, relaxing atmosphere. Just right for a late (or early) dinner with some close friends after work.
