Decided to have late lunch here because 1) we wanted a place that wasn’t crowded because 2) we had an infant and a stroller. The Salted Pig was practically empty next to the other restaurants on the same floor (maybe because the restaurant is new). Their first branch I believe is in Knutsford Terrace which I’ve eaten at when it first opened. They also have another branch over on D2 Lai Chi Kok (they have other branches too but I’m only mentioning the ones I’ve eaten at previously).Interior/vibes
Interior/vibes:
It was quite spacious and we were seated at one of the booths so it was good and we were able to park the stroller next to us (party of 3 adults and 1 baby)
Food/drinks:
For starters, we had calamari in cajun sauce and grilled tuna nicoise salad.

Drinks were in the form of 2 mocktails - 1 for me and mum and both quite refreshing (had strawberries and cranberries infused!)
Dessert - which I DID NOT manage to capture on cam (omg!) was a banoffee cake. It was good but rather small. The caramelized bananas and the scoop of chocolate ice cream was yum though!
Service:
Service was nice in the sense they were all attentive and very polite. The waitress who served us was quite slow though and she had to come back twice to confirm what we ordered (i tried to order in mix chinglish but i don’t know if that helped at all in terms of language.
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. I considered restaurants around the area to be quite local in terms of service but it was actually good!It’s good enough if you’re wanting to eat in a somewhat non-local restaurant around a super local area!
