Lunch at around 13:00 on 30/9/2009. At the end of our lunch, a group of customers came in and asked for 6 seats. As there was no "6-seat table" available at G/F at the moment, the waiter/manager simply requested me and my 37-week pregnant friend to shift to the adjacent table so as to vacate the original table, and the staff combine it with a 4-seat table, making it a table for 6.I was sure there were empty tables upstairs. I was sure there were empty tables upstairs. Why not bring them up?
Two weeks ago I had the same encounter (but that time I was in a group of 6). We were asked to go upstairs as there was no 6-seat table. The manager/waitress did not request other customers on G/F to shift their seats so as to make tables available for our big group.
Stupid service like that of a dai pai don this time.
Will not go again, and will tell friends and relatives such experience.
