Relaxing high tea

Thought about going to Peninsula for high tea but my family felt it would be too formal. We then chose to try Portal Work & Play at Langham Place Hotel. It was a weekday afternoon, we sat on a sofa and it was very quiet. Agreed with some commentators that services were good, quite friendly. I like the Salmon sandwich roll and clotted cream (though scone was not particularly impressive). But the dried fruit cake wasn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t really popular.
