Arrived here at 12.10pm on a Saturday for coffee and snacks, and there were plenty of seats available for the 2 of us. Please note that there is a minimum surcharge of one drink, and a 10% service fee. The cafe has a nice high ceiling and it feels airy and spacious. The decor is simple and elegant, and makes me feel relaxed.
We order the Sea Salt Caramel Latte ($40), Matcha Latte ($40), Truffle Fries ($78), and Dark Chocolate Cake ($58). Everything comes out quickly, with the fries arriving some 15 minutes later.
The drinks are both served in lovely handmade-style pottery, and taste good. The cake is rich and artistically plated, with chocolate sauce and a candied orange slice. The truffle fries were a big heap of crisp, hot, goodness, with the truffle dipping sauce served on the side.
We were both happy with the food, drink and service. During the time that we were there, a crowd of hungry patrons had accumulated outside. When we left just before our allotted 90 minutes was up, we saw that there was a line of people waiting for the next sitting. So to avoid disappointment, do come early to secure yourself a seat.
