I am not usually a street-food foodie but so on a cold night. Curry fish balls in a bamboo stick ($9/ 6), the representative of HK street food, perfectly satisfied my appetite for something small and warm. The balls were mainly made from cheap fish meat paste then deep-fried til golden. Dipped in a two respective pots of sauces, spicy and sour, the vendors skillfully had them skewered in sticks. The balls were mainly made from cheap fish meat paste then deep-fried til golden. Dipped in a two respective pots of sauces, spicy and sour, the vendors skillfully had them skewered in sticks. I asked for two spicy and four sour balls in a stick. The spicy ones were too spicy for me but my friend found it acceptable. Overall, with the bouncy texture and taste of originality, I would highly recommend these cheap and tasty balls that would tickle your taste buds.
