We finished a thai massage nearby so came here for a quick meal. We were very tempted by the shops on the ground floor selling lots of thai condiments, snacks and knick knacks, and we came back to buy some glutinous layered coconut pudding afterwards for dessert instead of having it in the restaurant. There was only 1 other couple in the restaurant, so we had a spacious table near the shrine. There is also a rather old-school DJ booth, thankfully there was no music that night. We ordered the pad

We ordered the pad thai which was quite a large dish, with 4 to 5 fresh prawns and the usual condiments, and tasted pretty good. The green chicken curry was flavourful but a little watery, which went well with the rice. We ordered the stir-fried mixed vegetables which tasted fresh without being too oily or overcooked, but nothing special about the veg. We also ordered a grilled fish thai style, which took a bit longer to arrive at the table, but it was worth the wait. The fish was quite large for 2 persons, was crispy on the outside but succulent white meat flaked off easily and tasted very fresh. Definitely the highlight of the meal. My friend had a beer and I had a iced longan drink.
The staff were attentive enough with pouring water and clearing plates. Overall, not a bad choice if you're in the neighbourhood looking for some decent thai grub.
