Teawood is a popular restaurant serving various popular Taiwanese food with branches throughout Hong Kong in easy to find areas of town. They were one of the first restaurants to bring to Hong Kong the honey toast. Quite frankly, I hate their honey toast. But the rest of the food is always ok and an optimal choice for me when I can't think of what to eat.Boyfriend and I came here for dinner. We decided on their dinner sets where for an extra $30, you get a bowl of rice, drink and cake or salad.T

Taiwanese Style Sour Plum Drink. This was my chosen dinner set drink. It wasn't as sour as I would have liked it but it was ok.
Braised Beef Brisket with Sweet Potato ($58 + $30 to make it a dinner set). This is what boyfriend chose. Beef brisket was tender. Sauce was sweet. It came served on top of a lit candle to make it appear like it would be kept warm. It was pretty much only for show as it wasnt even hot to the touch.
Plum and Fermented Bean Curd Ribs ($62 + $30 to make it a dinner set). This is what I chose and was pretty disappointed. It wasn't sour and much too sweet.
Grape and Raspberry Serradura Cake. I didn't want salad so chose this cake as my set. The waiter said we had to choose our cake upon ordering our dinner set so they could reserve it for us or choices are limited. I liked it as it had a combination of mousse and jelly. Two things I love. Taste was light and airy.
Passionfruit Mango Cake. Boyfriend chose this one and it was surprisingly strong in passionfruit flavor. Cake was moist, too. Surprised the cakes were pretty good.
Food was ok though not great. Cakes were surprisingly good. I usually return again.
