The food here is pretty good and very reasonably priced. I was excited to find Bak Chor Mee here, since it's not very common in Hong Kong. It was very flavourful and not as spicy as it looks, but the noodles were a bit too soft for my liking. My colleague got the Bak Kut Teh with rice, but she still felt hungry afterwards because the bowl of rice was quite small, so we asked for more rice and the staff gave it to us on the house By the way, the Bak Kut Teh here is more herbal than peppery. We also ordered some skewers and kaya toast to share. Skewers were good, though again a bit small, and the kaya toast was really tasty but we couldn't really taste the kaya. If anything, it was more like honey toast!
The set lunch comes with a drink and for an extra $5 I upgraded to a teh tarik, which was still foaming at the top when it arrived. That's how you know it's legit! My colleague got the standard hot lemon water, but the cup was REALLY small (see picture for reference!). It was served in a size of a yum cha cup!
Overall the food here is pretty good and the service was friendly. Will come back to try their other food!
