we ordered the laksa and the hainanese chicken rice sets and these are pretty decent. the laksa is aromatic and lemak-y, not as spicy as you would get in SG or Malaysia but it's good by local standards. the chicken rice is lightly fragrant, fluffy but not overwhelmingly oily and neither was it dyed a bright yellow as you typically get in HK. Regrettably, the chicken rice chili is terrible and so was the special lemongrass and mint drink which was essentially mint syrup and water. The shrimp cake is crispy, flavourful. You don't need the chili condiment to dip it in.

Brightly lighted environment and friendly service. Do go early but they try to seat you fast.
