I had a similar experience with dog222yan.I made a booking for 6 ppl a week ago. On that day, they phoned me to confirm the booking and re-confirm about whether we still have 6 ppl. I said yes.then I called and reminded my friends about the dinner and the time. 2 of my friends cannot come, so as a COURTESY, I called back the restaurant and updated the change of diners from 6 to 4. The woman said "ohhh then no need to make a reservation, just walk-in!" Then I thought "oh well, maybe the rest

The woman said "ohhh then no need to make a reservation, just walk-in!" Then I thought "oh well, maybe the restaurant isn't full at all, so we can simply walk-in". We all arrived on time at 8pm. HOWEVER, when we asked for a table for 4, the woman said we need to wait for an HOUR!!!!!!!!!
We were like "WHAT??????"
