There was a short queue just after 12pm as expected, but luckily we didn't have to wait for too long and got a table for 4 to ourselves. A colleague wanted to try the pigeon so we ordered our own lunch set and also a pigeon to share. Fish Fillet with egg and tomato served with spaghetti (Lunch Set D)
Was surprised with the colourful look and the large serving when it arrived. The fish fillet was soft and tasty. The scrambled egg went well with the tomatos. Although the spaghetti was on the overcooked side, I did manage to finish the whole plate. The side veggies were a welcomed bonus too.
Chinese Soup of the DayThis was part of the lunch set. A lotus root soup. Not too salty but there was definitely quite some MSG in it. Next time I might just go for a hot drink instead.
Baby Pigeon
It was nicely cut into four pieces so we each got to try one. It was just the perfect size. It was well marinated and the meat was tender. Great with the added lemon juice and the salt on the side too.
Overall a satisfying Friday lunch - I left feeling very full!
