With our office moved to Kwun Tong for over a year, we've already get used to the culture of Kwun Tong. It is always so croweded in the Lunch hours, the prices are not cheap, that not proportional with the food qualities.However, we are lucky to see the opening of Factory 99.The location is really perfect, as it is so near to our office, just walked for 5 mins is okay!We normally would have lunch around 12:00 to 12:30, it should be a perfect time, since seats are still available. The location is really perfect, as it is so near to our office, just walked for 5 mins is okay!
We normally would have lunch around 12:00 to 12:30, it should be a perfect time, since seats are still available. However, in these few weeks, we noticed that the seats are getting much tighter than before. For anyone who wish to try it and enjoy a lunch here, remember not to come too late, otherwise, you must need to wait for at least 1/2 hours.

The environment there was not bad. The setting between tables are big enough and confortable. there are small rooms with sofa as well... but i don't really like the sofa much for lunch,... maybe it is more suitable for tea time.
We ordered the set luch as usual, with Caesar salad, Pasta & Rice in different style.
To comment for the soup --> why they don't provide a small bun/slice of bread to us?
i think most of the customers would love to taste the soup with it!!
For the main course, mostly the baked pasta / rice will served with a pan with it... it is a surprise for us that the quanity is relatively impressive, especially the boys, they all ate in a full and contented feels~ I have chose the seafood pasta with tomato sauce. The taste is not bad, a little bit spicy, make my appetite get up! there is fresh beans for decorations. But of course, you can't expect the seafood is a fresh one, these are just the scallops and shirmp from the refrigerator only....
I tried some Caesar salad, but the taste is a little weired, i guess the sauce is not too sour maybe!!
For the drink, it is as normal as the cheap cheap canteen in Kwun Tong, you can't expect a high quality for it.. but you should be accepted because it is just a basic drink....
it comes to the last part, --> price!!
Still remember the first promotional month for factory 99, there is discount offered to customers. but now, the prices are around $40-50. with 10% service charges............
For me, it is not a bad choice for lunch, but it may not be a good place for lunch!
If you had tried it also, you should have the same feeling with me..
Anyway, we are surely to spend just one day in here for a week only. As long as it maintain the quality in the current level. it should be our weekly canteen for lunch!!
