I and my boyfriend use to go to the other store at Tsim Sha Tsui because only their store had the crabmeat and avocado appetizer that we love, but since we are in Mong Kok this day we’ve decided to give this newly opened chain restaurant a try…Akamaru Shinaji with Simmered Pork- The simmered pork was a bit tough and dry, but the rest of the bowl tasted standard as it should be. Wasabi Shrimp with Avocado salad- The taste was very similar to the crabmeat avocado appetizer we had in TST, though the only different would be the change of seafood. Even though shrimp might not be as luxurious as shrimp, the shrimp here were actually quite crisp and fresh (I think it is frozen shrimp). Still am loving the creamy wasabi taste of these appetizer dishes. Yummy~

New on the menu: Tomato pork bone soup ramen with thick noodles, bacon, deep fried cheese crackers and bell peppers- Quite innovative and worth a try, but I’d still prefer the traditional ramen options they offer on the menu. This bowl of ramen tasted more like a western soup based pasta, the noodles were thick and chewy, and the pork was a bit too tough.
