得龍大飯店 has about 50 years of history in Hong Kong. It is located in one of the industrial area – Sun Po Kong. It was started as a food stalls (大排档) and eventually opened its only restaurant at Sun Po Kong in 1963 to serve factory workers. The restaurant has been serving nostalgic Cantonese food since, such as金錢雞, 鴨腳包, 鵝炆豬腩, 佛跳牆, 梅菜扣肉and太爺雞 etc. 得龍 is probably one of the fewer places where diners can taste nostalgic Cantonese cuisine. The décor is old fashion and very localise. Cuisine: Nostalgic

Not a bad soup, lacked seasoning. Similar to what my maid cooks.
The chicken was nicely seasoned and steamed or boiled. It was incredibly tender and the skin was not too fattening and oily. It was very well made.
This dish has a powerful body and it was delicious. The sauce has soaked in the flavour of the pickled mustard cabbage. The pork was slow cooked with the sauce and cabbage, as u can imagine, the delicate flavour has all infused into the pork. The meat and fat just melt inside your mouth and the delicate flavour just remain around your mouth eternally. You would never think a restaurant in the industrial area would serve a dish with this kind of quality.
A typical stir-fried Chinese kale with garlic, the kale was crunchy and fresh. Perhaps, too much MSG was used; it made me drank a lot of tea. However, the flavour wasn’t bad at all.
