Really dodgy staircase, quite hard to find (hidden amongst the street stalls and bags hanging from the front staircase). I read the comments earlier and had made reservations for a table for 2 in the other room, where there is less smoke. And i'm glad i did. We ordered a salmon sashimi (thick and fresh), pumpkin salad (a bit bland, not very special), amaebi/hotate sushi and chopped fatty tuna sushi (fresh, decent portions), grilled salmon head (not oily, but juicy and tender, good portion for price), fish soup with udon (nice but my friend thought it was very plain, i personally liked it being flavourful but not too strong), and there was almond coffee icecream and tofu icecream for free, which ended the dinner on a high note.
The service was a bit slow, but when you asked them politely they would follow up on the dishes not arriving for a long time, they refilled tea promptly, and was overall friendly and polite.
