Have eaten at Pawn for dinner before - but this time, there was something different. They've got a new chef, a new menu, and it's MUCH better! It wasn't bad before, but not great.Menu choices: much more attractive and palatable. Taste: scallop appetizers - awesome. Pork belly - really juicy meat, crispy skin, well seasoned; good size. Quail - tender, light and flavorful. Cabbage + bacon side - yum. Buttered mash - yum yum. Only ding - the sticky toffee pudding dessert was a bit burnt and dried out from overcooking.
The new chef even came out to talk to us and ask us about the food. Affable british dude.
