I called the day before to make a reservation for a client meeting. I asked for a table for two and they asked me whether sushi bar was okay as that was the only table left. I said okay and left my contact details. They gave me a booking number On the day of, I called at 11:50 to ask whether I could move my reservation to half an hour earlier only to discover that THEY LOST MY BOOKING.Thank god I had called to double check - as it would be super embarrassing to be standing there with a client

Thank god I had called to double check - as it would be super embarrassing to be standing there with a client and NO TABLE.
I asked that given it was still so early whether they can give me a table and the staff said that I have to share a table with others...
Very unprofessional! They should have tried to rectify it straight away if they had lost my booking....
I shall take my business elsewhere as bookings need to be taken seriously
