Every visit to Sushi Hiro is definitely a major treat.Last Saturday's dinner (9th February) was another memorable one.To begin with we ordered some sushi and sashimi (katsuo, hamachi, mirugai, toro, ikura, shima-aji, awabi and a very delicious kind of tai recommended by the lady waitress). To begin with we ordered some sushi and sashimi (katsuo, hamachi, mirugai, toro, ikura, shima-aji, awabi and a very delicious kind of tai recommended by the lady waitress). All fresh and well prepared...as usual, they were fabulous!
But for me, the best part for that evening belongs to one of the cooked dishes; specifically the stingray fins cooked in miso. Then the deep fried oysters from Hiroshima, the taiwanese cod roe with raw daikon and the mini sardines biscuit went perfect with the sake as well.
Sushi Hiro should be among the top three, if not the first, on everyone's list when it comes to the great Japanese food.
