Any hows ... Fairwood is one of a those fast food chains much like Cafe de Coral and Maxim's Fast Food. It serves basic Chinese dishes typically found in a cha chan teng for a decent price. You pay at the cashier, sit down and pick up your order at the counter. Or in the case of this branch of Fairwood, they bring the food to you.
Braised Fish with Green Beans ($58). This was part of their MSG free meal series. It came with a big bowl of rice and a drink. I didn't quite like it. The fish was dry and had a gazillion bones in it. It was also super oily and so salty I gulped down so much water, my mouth felt paprched afterwards. If their idea of no MSG meant dumping in more salt, then this I'd rather have MSG than kidney failure from the huge amounts of salt added to it. Definitely won't order this again.
