I have always wanted to try this English pub-resto for a long time, and this week we finally made it. I ordered a set lunch that came with a bread pudding + gravy, baked vege plus wedges + dessert , and a coffee. My friend had a beef + vege.Much to my delight, the dishes are superb and in very very generous portion.The bread pudding + gravy was really nice, i'd never tried anything like this before and am in love with it now. The gravy tasted just right and it went well with the bread pudding.Th

Then the main course - baked vege + wedges. Oh my god, i cant tell you how much i love this course, the baked vege was covered with thick and creamy cheese and the gravy was delicious. I like it that the mixture was rather watery but rich in taste, makes it not too heavy for a lunch. The wedges was plenty....crispy and fresh!!!
We had apple tart for the dessert and they are one of the best i've ever tried.
However there was one thing i wasn't particularly impressed. The service!
It wasn't bad to the extent that i want to make a fuss of it, but its always nice being pro-active then re-active.
Thats all, i would definitely try out their Friday menu this week !!!!
