Spade by Lassana has been a recent hit on instagram, the presentation of their desserts do look appetizing, including their icecream toast, cream brulee cheesecake, and waffles. Unable to resist the temptation, so gotta give it a try today.the location was convenient enough, located in the Yau Tong 大本營 plaza, right outside of the mtr exit. it was a weekday 1230, the cafe seemed rather quiet for lunch time. I actually wanted to get a salty eats plus a dessert. but their salty eats ain't much, only 3 types of sandwiches..(all day breakfast and other options only available during weekend). the 3 sandwich choices didn't appeal to me so I went straight for waffle dessert.

I ordered myself a mixed berries waffle.

warm waffle drizzled with berries syrup, topped with berries, whipped cream, and a scoop of home made berries ice cream. boy, the waffles were soft and warm and bursting of buttery eggy flavor. but it didn't feel heavy at all! the homemade ice cream was refreshing, good balance of sweetness, creaminess, and sourness of berries. I like it overall. if I could suggest for one improvement, it would be more berries

the cafe was quite comfy, a big bay window overlooking the sea. definitely a good place for rest when getting too tired shopping. too bad it was a working day, else I'd love to stay for a while longer.
