Due to COVID-19, they have modified their brunch format into a set menu though pastries, some particular dishes and desserts has unlimited ordering at their counter.They have different packages. Since I recently had their unlimited Veuve clicquot yellow label at Tosca, I decided to try the free flow house wines and cocktails. The banana muffin was really fragrant and there was banana mashed inside.
For the appetizer, the mushroom despite being covered with cheese the mushrooms were still juicy and stood out.
The Vegetable Salad in Tomato Jelly was not only beautiful but the tomato jelly was very appetizing and prepared us for the next dish.
The white asparagus soup had a fluffy foam on top. Despite it's a cream soup, the flavor of asparagus was strong and wasn't heavy at all.
The egg dishes were unlimited and we tried all 4.
All 4 dishes were great but if I had to pick the favorite I would pick the truffle egg Benedict while my friend chose the Japanese steamed egg. The truffle flavor was spot on and the eggs were cooked to perfection with a runny centre. The flavors of the Japanese steamed egg were oozing with seafood making it my friend's favorite.We were quite full by then but we still had our mains.
Who knew Mac and Cheese can be elevated to such an elegant dish? The pasta was perfectly cooked and the lobster was still springy. I would say they can add less macaroni to this dish so the flavors can be more concentrated.
The burger was cooked right and the toppings did not cool down the burger(unlike another burger shop I tried recently). The wagyu was thick and the fries were crispy without being oily. We were so full by then we only got to try their ice creams without the waffles. Definitely will go back and try their brunch again when their menu changes.
