We, two, have just visited this noodle shop which is the topical shop at the interview page on page 061 of "Eat & Travel Weekly 13/03/2009".

We ordered 油渣麵 and 豬膶油渣麪. According to the magazine (at page 063), 油渣 is made of deep fried selected belly pork. However,
, the fact is no pork can be found but Chicken skin which has no trace of having been deep fried before. Boiled (not fried) Chicken Skin is so oily and unhealthy that you can think of. I left all this oily thing on my bowl. Moreover, the sauce, spring onion, pickled are all uncovered and a bit messy if not dirty but you have to add them into your bowl becasue the taste of the noddle is not so impressive or tasty.

When I come back home, I checked openrice. To my surprise
, most of recent comments recommended this shop. Oh! No.
They all recommended their 豬油渣???
.(For example the picture of 油渣麪 in 為食豬老婆's comment was definitely a bowl of noodles covered by "Boiled but not fried Chicken Skin")
.

Have these registered members verified their information?

By the way, I've visited this shop several times and usually order 豬膶麪 because I noted that they used Chicken skin in 油渣麪. But as recommended by the magazine, we tried this No.1 disgusting noodle in Hong Kong.

When I paid the bill in the reception area, the fat lady (maybe the boss as described in the magazine) played with a boy. I hope that this boy will not learn the "cheating skill" from the boss of this shop, the writer of the magazine, unirresponsible commenters and all other liars. Liars Liars.

Last comment: Don't order 油渣麪 unless you like Oily boiled chicken skin, cholesterol(膽固醇), triglyceride acid(三酸甘油脂). The hygene of the shop environment is also doubtful. "Wai Kee'" at the same street is crowded and their service is not really good but they never lies their clients. We will not try or recommend "Chow Kee" but will warn all our beloved friends about the goodwill of the shop and the magazine.
