Today was first day government implemented newest restaurant bills to disallow too crowded people in a single venue, as well as others, due to covid-19. At 1730 we arrived and saw no line up. Yesterday we walked by but due to lining up outside on a rainy day we passed. An opportunity and should get our butt here. At 1730 we arrived and saw no line up. Yesterday we walked by but due to lining up outside on a rainy day we passed. An opportunity and should get our butt here. First thing first temperature taking and ID checking which we easily cleared to enter.
Once sat down a few servers came to greet us and kids asking for their names and ages, a sign of caring and cheerful staffs. We ordered 1/ Western Toast 2/ Afternoon Tea Macronni with Fresh Beef in soup, sunshine egg 3/ Pork Chop pay fry with instant noodles.
1/ Toast is hot and thick. Interior it consisted peanut butter sauce and real chewable peanuts. Above average scored.
2/ Macronni was alright, no surprise, and beef was soft but tasteless. Recalled when we go wet market to buy real and fresh beef for hotpot, beef there was very juicy and strong flavor. Perhaps different type and quality of beef. Room for improvement. An average score.
3/ Pan Fry instant noodles were also normal with no surprise. We scored this dish average.
We orderes ice milk tea and one hot with condensed milk. Quality, texture, and overall taste were good and unique. Not all HK style cafe able to cook like this so worthwhile to tryout. However, we have not discovered our perfect milk tea but yet to give up. Keep going and hope for tomorrow.
Last but not least we appreciated the creativity of their dishes name on menu. A very localized and one must live around long enough to catch all.
