I actually read about MIST when I was eating in Chabuton ramen shop in Japan. The ramen at Chabuton tasted great so I was really anticipating eating at MIST as good ramen shops are very rare in hk! Also bearing in mind that Chabuton and MIST have the same head chef so I guess quality is assured!However, it was kind of a disappointment after having a bowl of ramen at MIST. However, it was kind of a disappointment after having a bowl of ramen at MIST. The ramen was good but not great – definitely not as good as Chabuton. In comparison, the soup base didn’t have as much intense flavour and lacked the mouth-watering factor.
MIST’s glamorous and cozy environment without a doubt enhances the atmosphere into a high-end dining experience. Yet, this reflects on the majority of the bill.
Lunch set for three people came close to $600 for us. The ramen was, again, good. Dessert was so-so while coffee was terrible!
Overall, MIST is a nice cozy place to enjoy ramen. However, in terms of ramen, it is good but definitely not great.
