I love cha chaang tangs, so I decided to give this one a try! I thought the menu said “curry French toast” and I thought that was interesting and so I ordered it but the uncle taking my order didn’t understand me and thought I wanted the “cheese French toast” and I kept repeating and pointing at the menu, and he eventually called someone else over and had her read the menu cuz he couldn’t see it and she said it’s kaya French toast 😂😅 I should improve my Chinese. The kaya French toast smelled delicious 😍 But the kaya wasn’t spread very evenly in the toast and so I opened it up to spread it better. The kaya was sweet, kinda like honey, but the flavor wasn’t strong... I expected more coconut flavor.. The outside of the French toast was crispy and the inside was soft. The utensils they gave me were so nasty though… There were black spots on my knife and so I had to clean it with my napkin 😰 Will probably come back again to try their sandwich or the peanut and condensed milk toast.
