There are a lot of new and special cafes in Kwun Tong keeping in my bucket list for a long long time. This is one of them, merely because of their very unique tea flavour ice-cream. I read the story from a magazine in a long time ago about two girls creating chinese tea ice-cream and this story kept in my mind. The place wasn't easy to find and it was a little bit scary walking alone in the empty industrial building corridor. The big sign helped me to identify the restaurant.
There is a low profile white gate
From the entry, I could feel it is a very relaxing place already or you could said it is so called 文青 style.
YES! I came for gelato!!! Give me ice-cream!!! lol
I liked this chart categorized traditional tea breeds according to the intensity of tea flavours. I actually spent quite a long time to decide which flavour shall I take since want them all lol and I'm not very sure about the differences.

I've picked up this waffle since I could choose 2 types of ice cream plus I think the ice cream would taste better with waffle.

The jasmine tea flavour was light and refreshing. Adding honey balanced the tea flavours and made it more close to the normal ice cream flavour as we used to have. It is a nice choice for those love dessert but can't endure much sweetness like me.

It actually looked different from the menu, on the menu it was white in colour but I got a brown one. I first thought the staff ordered wrong, but they explained the cafe adapted a new receipt, therefore the colour changed. I actually think the change is reasonable since brown is closer to the colour of Pu-erh tea.

Coffee Flavour was actually NOT on the menu! Lucky me! Got a secret flavour! And it was surprisingly good, intense flavour and rich texture.
Overall speaking, the chinese tea flavours gelato were exotic! and I do appreciate the innovative mind who blends the new and the old, as well as, the east and the west. Moreover, I need to say I love the environment.
