I got this Japanese-Style Barbecue Pork Teriyaki Sandwich set with Japanese Pumpkin Sweet Potatoes Cream Cheese Salad (as fries were not available when I visited at around 2pm on a Saturday…).
It was a bit disappointing that the sandwich looked better than it taste. For one, it’s cold…Probably because of sitting under the strong air-con for too long before serving. Therefore, the toasted bread became a bit soggy…The stuffing inside were tasteless, as in not having a distinctive flavor of their own…They all tasted like a lump of something inside the sandwich…A bit pathetic…
The salad was probably the best thing in the set. The pumpkin and sweet potatoes made the salad more on the sweet side; mixed well with quite a bit of cream cheese, the salad was very filling, which made up for the half portion of disappointing teriyaki sandwich. However, I had a stomachache shortly after this meal…Not sure if it’s because of the cream cheese…
