Me and my friend finished work at causeway bay and went to have dinner at this Japanese restaurant. It is located at a quiet spot; the restaurant is cozy and quiet so we enjoyed our dinner very much. We didn’t want to think so we ordered their special set. It is quite special as the chef prepare the food in front of you all in one go. To start with, we had the cold shrimp as our appetiser. The chef used the shrimp paste as the sauce; luckily it wasn’t fishy. It actually brought out the sweetness

To start with, we had the cold shrimp as our appetiser. The chef used the shrimp paste as the sauce; luckily it wasn’t fishy. It actually brought out the sweetness of the shrimp. The texture of the shrimp was crunchy and sweet.

The sushi was next; the chef told us to start with the middle one first which was the medium fatty maguro, it was marinated with specia sauce already so the flavour was quite strong. It was soft and delicious. Next was the one on the right hand side which was the fatty maguro; it was soft and tasty. The maguro was last as it was put under the flame for a bit. It was a bit crispy and tasted the best out of the three.

Sea urchin shrimp ball topped with dried mullet roe was delicious! I had never try anything like this before. The sea urchin inside the shrimp ball was sweet and matched so well with the shrimp. The shrimp ball was crunchy and full of flavour. The fried mullet roe was crunchy.

The highlight of the night was the three seafood rice, they were presented beautifully in a glass.
Sea urchin rice:
The sea urchin was so smooth and sweet.

Salmon roe rice: there were so many of them! I really enjoyed them as they popped in my mouth one by one. They were not fishy.

Minced maguro rice: this was my favourite as the maguro was delicious.

The clams miso soup was nice and warm on such a cold weather. I could taste the mushroom flavour since the miso flavour was not so strong.

To finish off, we had the yuzu sorbet and their homemade green tea yogurt with red bean. The yuzu sorbet was critics and refreshing. The green tea yogurt was smooth and creamy and tasted very good with the red bean.
