豬大王 is a place that serves up noodles or rice dishes that evolve around different parts of the pig. Yes, you can pretty order any part of the pig here. Located in Mong Kok, they have another branch in Tuen Mun.It's not very big but at least seating is spacious enough. Menu is in Chinese only. The liver was very fresh and cleaned properly so there was no weird after taste. It also had that nice crisp texture on top that I like and wasnt mushy at all. The soup on the other hand was pretty forgettable. Just MSG and not much else.
Boyfriend had the fried pork chop with rice in soup ($57). The pork chop had a lot of fat so it was a bit on the oily side. It was, however, seasoned well and very tender. Probably due to all the fat.
The rice in soup was just like eating rice in MSG laden soup. It was also a big portion. It was ok but I wasn't a big fan of it.
The food was ok though unsure if I'd be back. Nothing really drew me to want to return.
