I can't believe discrimination can be happened in this kind of high-end restaurant. I was totally pissed off!!! I ordered a birthday cake a week ago because of my mother's b-day is coming up. My first impression of Sevva was nice because of the very patient server treated me so nice as a guest and explained everything about their bakery, of course including their lovely cakes. I can't believe discrimination can be happened in this kind of high-end restaurant. I was totally pissed off!!!

I ordered a birthday cake a week ago because of my mother's b-day is coming up. My first impression of Sevva was nice because of the very patient server treated me so nice as a guest and explained everything about their bakery, of course including their lovely cakes. Then I ordered a cake for my mum with a tag on the cake. Due to my first visit in this restaurant, I had no clue about their product but that server always provided suggestions and solutions, so that I was quite satisfied about the service at the first place.

However, after the discussion with my sister few days after the ordering, we would like to modify the tag. My sister tried to call Sevva and she left her name and contact number to them but my sister's phone never ringed. Then I was told to go to the restaurant itself and requested Sevva to modify the tag for me. However, the nightmare was just started. First, I asked a server to help me out with modified the b-day cake tag. Then I was passed to the very rude receptionist. She was nice to others english speaking person but not to those speaking cantonese. And she spoke up after she knew somebody wanted to modify the tag on the cake that need to pick up tomorrow, " Why the tag had to be modified on the day before pick up?" in a very rude way. I did not think she realized I was the one asking her to do it. Honestly, that kind of conversation should be kept at the back and not speak it up in front of the customer. I was kind of annoyed right after I heard that convesation. And then, that rude receptionist took a folder from a draw and asked me the name and the pick up day and she told me after 15 seconds, "YOU HAVE NO RECORD IN OUR SYSTEM." Come on, you retard, are you really blind, please check it carefully. In the meanwhile, I gave her my receipt and she got my receipt number, and my ordering was found in the same folder with in 5 seconds!! How amazing it was. Finally, I just got a answer in 5 seconds after I told the modification to her, "WORDS ARE SO PACKED ALREADY, YOU CANNOT SEE A WORD AFTER THE MODIFICATION, CONTACT US AFTER YOUR HAVE THE FINALL CALL...." There was no solution and suggestion. I need you guys to solve a problem for me and you guys threw the problem back to me. What I can say was THANK YOU VERY MUCH. After I called my sister and told her about this incident, she was so pissed off, too. She called Sevva again and they claimed that they could do the modification based on their suggestion. Finally, the problem was fixed!!!

How come Sevva provides a way better service to foreigners or others english speaking persons and telling those cantonese speaking persons to go play yourself at home. It is totally a races and it is absolutely unacceptable. Server does not only transfer food and drink from the kitchen but to help their guests to solve the problem while guests have issue about their food and service.
